A Message from the President
AHLOA, the Avalon Home and Land Owner’s Association, is a community association of property owners.
We have been in existence for more than 50 years with the goal of enhancing the environmental, economic, and social values of residency in the Borough. To achieve that AHLOA consults regularly with the membership, Borough Officials, and other community-based organizations to advocate programs that improve the quality of life in our town.
Full time and part time property owners are eligible for membership. We invite you to join our Association, if you are not a current member. Our meetings are open to the public.
We meet the second Saturday of the month in the Senior Center, adjacent to the Borough Hall. Meetings begin at 10:00 AM and usually include a guest speaker and reports from various Standing Committees that keep us updated on events around Avalon and Cape May County.
In April we meet on the second Saturday at the Community Hall for our annual Community Connections event. A general meeting at the Hall is held in August each year. Both of these meetings include notable speakers and information on the happenings in Avalon.
Avalon is a premier Jersey vacation resort as well as a year round community. AHLOA strives to maintain and improve our town. To that end, we invite you to provide input by attending any of our meetings and consider joining us in our efforts toward continuing improvement.
