At the May Zoning Board meeting, approval was given for the creation of outdoor dining in front of the Icona Brew Pub, including an awning -- with signage on 3 faces -- that would extend 15 feet from the building. Included in the approved site plan are movable planters around the perimeter of the dining area.  Approval for limited ambient music is being considered under the liquor license, and will require Borough approval.   Borough approval for 6-foot wide walkways on both sides of 79th Street will also be requested.
