It is anticipated that there will be a beach back-passing operation between mid-April and mid-May to replenish the North end beaches in preparation for the summer season. At this point, the need is more limited than in past operations, and the effort will target identified hot spots.

There was a long discussion by Council, supplemented by public comment from telephone attendees, regarding possible expansion of virtual access by the public to Borough Council meetings. The discussions focused on permitting visual access as well as improving the quality of telephone alternatives. Currently under consideration are two potential platforms:

• Zoom

• Live-streaming through another service
  

A team which includes the Borough Business Administrator and other personnel will continue to pursue the matter and get back to Council with findings and recommendations.
