Council took the following actions:

• Approved a resolution to hire Melissa Bakley as Deputy Municipal Clerk for a period of three years starting on September 20, 2021

• Approved a contract with Arthur J. Ogren, Inc for the Avalon Fire Station construction / renovation in the amount of $6,527,600

• Approved a contract with Mott Mac Donald to provide engineering support for the Fire Station Project in the amount of $127,900

• Released deed restrictions limiting height for the property at 221 35th Street

• Approved a resolution for promotional activity related to flood insurance
