Does Avalon Borough provide internet access? +

Yes. You can access the internet using your own personal computer in the area of the Avalon Free Public Library. The Library also offers several computers with internet access. This is a free service provided by the Library. For more information, contact the Library at (609) 967-7155.

How often is the information on the website updated? +

AHLOA posts new information, including speaker comments and committee reports monthly after the meeting minutes are approved by the Trustees.

When are the Avalon Council meetings? +

Council meetings are held on the 2nd, and 4th Wednesday of every month at Avalon Borough Hall starting at 7:00p.m. All are welcome to attend. For a complete listing of Borough meeting schedules, visit the Events section.

When are the Avalon Planning/Zoning Board meetings? +

Planning and Zoning Board meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Avalon Borough Hall starting at 7:00p.m. All are welcome to attend. For a complete listing of Borough meeting schedules, visit the Events section.

What dates are vehicles permitted on the beach for fishing? +

Approved vehicles are permitted on the beach from September 15th thru April 1st only after obtaining a permit through the Borough Licensing Clerk. For more information, contact the Licensing Clerk at (609) 967-5918.

What are the Borough Hall hours of operation? +

What can the Borough do about noisy renters? Can they be evicted? +

The Borough can respond to noise or behavior complaints by issuing citations for court appearances to the individuals involved. It can also cite the owners and for repeated violations, suspend the rental license. The Borough cannot evict tenants. That is a civil matter between landlord and tenant. Your best remedy is repeated complaints to the Avalon Police. Call (609) 967-3411 for Police Dispatch.

Call The Avalon Police dispatch at (609) 967-3411. They will contact County Animal Control promptly.
