With the “quiet” season upon us, the Officers and Trustees have been exploring how AHLOA can expand our efforts to be Your Community Connection. With the positive feedback we received from Mayor Pagliughi’s virtual State of the Borough presentation posted on our website on September 8th, we are going to begin periodic, virtual “Listen and Learn” sessions on topics important to our members.

Every fall for the past several years, we hosted an in-person presentation from an Avalon realtor to provide attending members with an update on the Avalon sales and rental market during the first 9-10 months of the year. These sessions have been very well attended. Since it is still not possible to conduct in person meetings given the COVID-19 restrictions, we are going to turn to Zoom and kick off our initial Listen and Learn program with a virtual replacement.  Joe Butler, a Purdy Real Estate agent and an AHLOA Trustee, will be featured at our initial Listen and Learn session on Thursday October 22nd at 7:00 pm.
