Avalon property owners who are concerned about the impact of flooding, storms, and other events in our community are encouraged to participate in the mandatory update of the Cape May County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) which addresses risks and threats in all 16 municipalities. Participating in this project takes only a few minutes. The results from the survey will be shared with municipal, county, state, and federal entities for planning purposes.
