The Council Meeting on July 28th addressed the following topics:.

• Council approved a resolution to accept grants in the amount of $93,487 from the New Jersey Department of Public Safety, Office of the Attorney General, for body cameras for the police department.

• Council approved revisions to the police chief's contract. This was discussed initially at a closed session on July14.

• It was noted that the grace period for the third quarter real estate tax payment has been extended by lowering the interest rate to 0% during the period August 1st through August 13th.

• Council all approved a height waiver for the property located at 294 18th Street.
