The Council Meeting on July 28th addressed the following topics:.
Council approved a resolution to accept grants in the amount of $93,487 from the New Jersey Department of Public Safety, Office of the Attorney General, for body cameras for the police department.
Council approved revisions to the police chief's contract. This was discussed initially at a closed session on July14.
It was noted that the grace period for the third quarter real estate tax payment has been extended by lowering the interest rate to 0% during the period August 1st through August 13th.
Council all approved a height waiver for the property located at 294 18th Street.
