AHLOA - Community Conections

  • Community Hall 30th and the Boardwalk Avalon, NJ, 08202 United States (map)

Please plan to join us for this wonderful annual AHLOA tradition. This meeting, taking place at Community Hall on 30th and the Boardwalk, will feature many Borough departments as well as local civic groups stationed at 30+ tables to let you know more about their role, their services, and what they have planned for summer 2024. Plenty of information and fun “giveaways” will be available. This annual meeting is always well attended by our members, especially this year as part of the Avalon-wide Spring Into Summer program. Community Connections will take place on the final day of Spring Into Summer 2024, filled with Summer Solstice activities all day and evening on Saturday, June 22nd. We are eager to see and interact with all of you!

Light refreshments will be served starting at 8:30 a.m. at which time the tables will be open for initial browsing. At 9:00 a.m., Dr. Lenore Tedesco, Executive Director of The Wetlands Institute will speak with all attendees about important environmental issues affecting 7 Mile Island.  The Wetlands Institute will also staff information tables with fun facts for attendees of all ages.  At approximately 10:00 a.m., the tables will re-open and be available to you until 11:00 a.m.

We look forward to seeing all of you at 8:30 a.m. on June 22nd in Community Hall.
