In the Borough Newsletter Spring/Summer 2019 issue, AHLOA was publicly acknowledged by Avalon officials for our role in addressing new construction regulations. AHLOA provided meeting platforms for presentations, held private meetings with officials, provided extensive communication and participated at council meetings. AHLOA’s efforts were substantially aided by our membership along with your voices at our monthly meetings which generated extensive input. The AHLOA Board worked diligently to collect and organize constituents’ suggestions.
As a heads up, AHLOA posted on 2/24/19 in the “Did You Know” section of our website, the Borough’s intended construction initiatives. Membership was invited how to assist in the implementation of the construction goals.
Now as a result of Borough, AHLOA and overall community efforts, there should be more mutually productive construction practices effective May 1, 2019. No one expects the new system to be without refinement, but this should be a major improvement starting immediately.
Please continue to keep the Borough and your AHLOA representatives informed. We work 24/7, 365 days a year, as Your Community Connection! We need to hear your voice. Let’s all keep Avalon as a special place.
