The AHLOA Board has decided to cancel our customary in-person Annual Meeting scheduled for August 8th to protect the safety and well-being of our members and Avalon visitors who typically attend. Last year’s meeting drew 200+ attendees, and a “repeat performance” this year would obviously not be possible. Every August, per our bylaws, AHLOA members elect officers and trustees for the upcoming fiscal year. This year is no different, except the election must be conducted virtually.
This year, we are fortunate to have 21 individuals who have agreed to serve this organization and represent your interests. We are all committed to AHLOA’s purpose which is: “…to promote and enhance the environmental, economic and social values of residency in the Borough of Avalon, NJ.”
To cast your vote, please visit the 2020 Election link. There you can review the slate of officers and trustees and answer one simple question. On-line voting will be available until Friday August 14th. Results will be posted on our Facebook page and this website shortly after voting is closed.
Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
