The Avalon Borough Council has approved an extension of the grace period for property owners to pay third quarter taxes. The grace period has been extended until August 22, 2022 without any interest penalty. The tax rate was struck by the County of Cape May on July 18th which necessitated a delay in mailing tax bills.
