Home for the Holidays

On Thursday, October 28th, AHLOA officers presented a donation of $500 to American Legion Post 331 to support their Home for the Holidays program. The program pays for airline tickets and/or associated travel expenses for a family/couple/individual, with an E6 rank or lower, stationed at the Cape May Coast Guard training station to help the recipient spend holiday time "back home" with their family. Recipients of the holiday gift are chosen by lottery. The number of persons funded varies by donations received each year. The program began at Post 331 in 2014.
