The January 12th Planning/Zoning Board meeting ran for slightly more than 6 hours with 280 people present via the telephone. The meeting continued the review of the TK12 Holdings’ application for variances to construct a new restaurant at 2800 Boardwalk. The Applicant’s request was construed to constitute changing one commercial activity to a different and expanded commercial activity that required a use variance. There was significant local opposition to the request, and the Board denied the requested variance.
