At the monthly AHLOA meeting on Saturday July 9th, Chief Christopher of the Avalon Police Department spoke to the members and trustees in attendance at the Senior Center. The Chief addressed many resident concerns and openly discussed key topics affecting Avalon in the summer season — youth bike groups, underage drinking, recent automobile thefts, bike safety, department staffing levels, and many other items. The Chief answered a wide variety of questions from the audience, and spoke approximately 45 minutes.
