CFO Jim Craft outlined a proposal for selling beach tags online through Jersey Cape Diagnostics, Training, & Operations Center. Avalon would be responsible for mailing tags and an effort must be made to communicate this new system to the public.
Council favorably considered a renewal of the annual contract with the Cape May County Herald and Coastal Broadcasting for PR services for the 2021 season
The Borough has received the proposal for the location of 40 poles related to the installation of 5G Technology. Borough Administrator Scott Wahl has examined the locations and only objected to one which will be changed. No metal poles are involved.
A proposal for a pump station at the SE Corner of 78th Street and Dune Drive was favorably considered. The owner of the property is generously deeding about 300 square feet to the project.
Council approved Resolutions which establish the Rules and Regulations for tennis and pickle ball courts for the 2021 summer season.
